Admission Rules

For admission to the MSc in Global Economics & Finance of the Moscow School of Economics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University the applicant should complete an on-line application via https://webanketa.msu.ru and should submit other required documents together with the on-line applicaion and to pass the Admission tests .

The application and other required documents should be submitted from June 15, 2024 till July 20, 2024.
Information about additional admission places will be published based on the results of the main admission in the second half of August.
The admitted Russian citizens are obliged to present the originals together with the Consent to enrollment.
The admitted foreign citizens are obliged to deliver to the Admission Commission the originals of the submitted via on-line system documents before the start of the education, considering the difficulties of postage services.

HOW TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS TO THE ADMISSION COMMISSION?

The scans of the documents should be uploaded via https://webanketa.msu.ru.

For the applicants from the People's Republic of China we have prepared an Instruction in Chinese. Please download the instruction, prepare all the required documents, including the translation of your passport (请下载线上申请系统webanketa.msu.ru操作指南)！.
Please consider to apply a few days prior to the admission test as on-line application may take some time.
Also, in case of mistackes it will be returned for correction.

The originals of the documents can be submitted to the MSE MSU Admissions Commission in the following ways :
-By the Applicant in person, by visiting MSE Admission Commission office 103 Leninskie Gory 1, building 61, Moscow, 119991, tel: + 7 999 925 11 37.

-Through the postal operators/ door-to-door courier services to the the address of MSE Admission Comission: office 103, Leninskiye Gory 1, building 61, Moscow, 119991.
-Through a person in confidence holding a Power of attorney certified by the Notary.
In case if Power of attorney is issued in foreign country the person should present Notary certified translation of it into Russian language.

 

DATES OF THE ADMISSION TESTS IN 2024:

Please note all the admission tests will be held on-line.

The applicants who have submitted the application together with the relevant documents prior to the date of the exam will receive invitation for the before-the exam- identification procedure to the e-mail address.
You need to prepare your passport/ ID with photo, camera and microphone.
Please follow the link to register for the admission exam on 23.07.2024.
Those, who will pass the identification will receive a link for the exam session.
Those applicants, who have already participated in the first wave should not register for the 2nd wave exam.
The Admission commission will consider both test results for the final admission list.

29.06.2024 at 11.00 (MSK time) Economics, (written on-line test and interview with Commission member) .


Questions and Answers Session (Consultations)

26.06.2024 at 12.00 Economics, on-line.


Second group:
23.07.2024 at 11.00 Economics, (written on-line test and interview with Commission member).

TEST RESULTS

The test results usually discussed on the next day at the latest.
The time for the exam results discussion will be defined during the exam.

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment of the admission seeker who scored the required number of points during the admission tests is conducted by the Central Admission Committee of the Lomonosov Moscow State University according to the recommendations of the MSE Admissions Commission. In case of disagreement with the results of admission tests, the enrollee has the right to appeal.
The admission to the Master's program is carried out for the full-time form of education on a contractual basis with the condition of full payment of tuition fee.
Enrollment is conducted after the conclusion of the Contract for Education Services and tuition fee payment for the first semester.

WHO WILL DROP OUT OF THE COMPETITION :

persons who withdrew their documents after the acceptance of documents ended;

persons who, with no good reason, have not appeared at the admission tests performed by the MSU at the time assigned in the timetable;

persons who received the result at the admission tests that falls below the minimal number of points;

persons who did not submit applications on the enrollment consent before the deadline date as well as persons who withdrew this consent.
